As N242 continues to roll through the yard behind it, the 2530 sits stagnate and will not be remote controlling any cars this morning since it has not been assigned to any yard jobs.

Having just picked up two loaded boxcars from the Acme Brick company, Y195 waits for permission from the yard tower before it crosses the WofA mainline.

A clean GP38-2 with remote control capabilities, as indicated by the boxy nose, pulls a pair of boxcars and one covered hopper off of the Americus Branch from what few customers remain on it.

The work horse for today's Y290 gets ready for another night of work sorting cars in the adjacent and former Western Railway of Alabama's Chester Yard.

I was expecting a coal or a grain train coming off of the CSX Columbus line onto the Columbus sub heading to Parsons, what I got instead was a lone GP38-2.
